Lillian: "I am going to call my horse Ironman"
Me: "Don't you think your toys would appreciate having DIFFERENT names?"
Lillian: "Nah"

I need to start updating here again. Here is one from Lillian at 4 1/2 years old. She tried to turn the water to the tub off herself. And I was explaining to her that it was dangerous because she could burn herself or her sister.
Lillian: "Okay, I won't do it again"
Me: "That is what you said last time"
Lillian: "Well maybe you need to yell it loudly so that I can hear you"

Mia
Lillian walks around with two stuffed kitties. When you ask her what the big kitty's name is, she says, "Mia." When you ask her what the little kitty's name is, she says, "MoreMia"

Sqeeks and Squaks
Today Lillian was sliding around on my tile floor and going, "squeee" when she got to the end of her slide. No clue where she learned that sound effect. I guess TV.
She's also gotten so good at the order of Noggin programming, that in the morning when she's eating breakfast... when Sunnypatch came to an end she started screaming "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast" and she was right, that is what was coming on next.
When we went to meet Josh at his truck, I told Lillian that we were going to go pick daddy up. She said, "NO! He's too big!" (he's too big for her to pick up hahaha)
Later on when Josh was home and we turned on the TV, it was on channel 134 (Noggin) for about 4 seconds before he flipped the channel. No image, just 4 seconds of sound... and she yelled "Blues Clues!" We checked the program, and sure enough. She was right. I looked over and called her my autistic child.
Later on we were flipping channels and we came across a preview for James Bond Octopussy, and James Bond was dressed up as a clown. She started shouting "Mickey Donald! Mickey Donald!"

Too Much TV
Our TV is about 5 years old, and it takes about 20 seconds or so for the picture to appear when you turn it on. The sound comes on almost instantaneously though. So today when I turned on Noggin for Lillian, she started screaming "Maggie and the Ferocious Beast" before the image even appeared on the screen. (although it doesn't sound anything like that)She knew it was them just by the voices! Do you think she watches too much TV.
Later on she asked for tea. I told her that I didn't have any. She looked at me blankly and said, "Go fix some". Alrighty then

Upside Down
This morning while picking out books to read to Emma, Lillian flipped out that one of her books was on the shelf "up-down-side", so she had to pull it down and flip it the right way to put it back on the shelf.
Also Lillian's pronunciation of the word "snuggles" is "nug nols"
Today when I told her that Daddy got to eat lunch with some friends of ours, she said, "NO! Daddy at work in his truck!"

"Nice Hair"
This morning I woke up to Lillian stroking my hair saying, "Nice hair, mommy. Like a princess."
This week Emma has been going back to two bottles a night instead of one. For a week she was eating at 9pm and then sleeping till 6am. It was heavenly. Now she's back to eating at 1am and 6am. Last night when Lillian said her prayer I swear she thanked God for "Lilly's Shows" (ie the Noggin channel)
In good news, Mia came home after being missing for 6 days. We had toured the humane society and called all the ones that are full (no kill shelters) but she wasn't there. We found a cat who looked exactly like Mia except she had a curly underbelly. Lillian was so upset when we left the shelter because she thought we were just leaving Mia there. This morning I was in the kitchen getting something and I saw a white ball of fluff in my back yard. She returned!

First of Many
Last night Lillian said her own prayer without my coaching and you could actually understand most of it. She said, "Dear Jehovah, thank you for the day. Thank you for daddy, and his work truck. Thank you for Emma.....(unrecognizable babble in here)... We love you, Jesus name, Amen!"
Today when we were grocery shopping and I was loading the truck with the groceries she started freaking out about her pear. I thought she was just mad that I took the bag from her and put it in the car. But when I closed the Jeep door I saw a pear laying on the ground. She was telling me that I dropped a pear! What a good helper.
Then when she woke up from her nap she came running into my room and said, "I want my fruit please!" I asked her which one and she said, "GRAPES!" then as I was washing the grapes and pulling them off the stock, she proceeded to tell me about the monster that she was afraid of. I asked her what color it was, and she said, "BLACK!" I'm thinking that she must be afraid of shadows in the dark. I was deathly afraid of them when I was little, and slept with a night light on until... well until I got married! HAHA
Today Emma found her big voice. She was talking really loudly and it was so cute. I got a few minutes of video
