Today I took the girls to work with me because Josh had an interview. Lillian knows that there are snacks for sale at the shop, so I told her that if she brought HER money, that she could buy one. So we got into her piggy bank and I told her that she needed four quarters to buy a snack.
So we counted them out. I said, "The snack costs one dollar, four quarters (the big ones) equal one dollar"
She kept the four quarters in her pocket all day. Then about an hour before we left I took her to buy her snack. I asked her, "How many quarters make a dollar?"
"FOUR!"
I like when she actually listens to what I'm saying and REMEMBERS it!

I'm starting this blog in order to be able to send mini updates from my cell phone. Normally I text friends and family and then forget to write the story or information down for myself! Now I can write the tiny little stories that happen every day so that I can remember all the details for the monthly updates!
